However, it uses a standard connection to your television that you can purchase for a few dollars at any electronics store. Unfortunately, it seems that some 2-port units are not compatible with Pitfall! and Mountain King. However, the 2-port systems are all compatible with the VCS adapter.

In regular mode, you play against an opponent that you choose yourself for either one or three rounds.

This 48 KB Spectrum introduced a new QL-style case with an injection-moulded keyboard and a reset button that was basically a switch that shorted across the CPU reset capacitor. Electronically, it was identical to the previous 48 KB model. It was possible to change the system boards between the original case and the Spectrum+ case.
